In the spirit of good ecrating, what you see in the picture is what you get- (top has been taken off the box for the photo) - you will receive an assembled and professionally balanced rotor, just the nose cone to add.
This is a high quality 1.75m (5 foot 9 inch) approx. diameter turbine rotor, with durable grey polyamide blades and nose cone, and an anodised aluminium hub with a 24mm bore.
It is supplied in a sturdy customised box, it may be useful to keep if you'd want to transport your rotor elsewhere at a later date. As with all cardboard, it can be recycled or even composted.
The rotor is supplied professionally balanced, because it is a high speed moving part. Imbalance in a rotor can lead to noise, inefficiency, fatigue, and even failure. If you take the rotor apart, it should be professionally rebalanced on reassembly.
It is very important that the rotor is only used on a turbine with a suitable brake to protect it in very high winds. Even durable polyamide blades have their limits, and the wind is a truly powerful force. In bidding, you are agreeing to use the rotor with an adequate braking system, and to take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of yourself and others. The rotors' top survival speed is 1200rpm.
This is an industrial product, with injection moulded blades, the blades are seldom completely smooth, this tends to show as a "marbled" effect on the blade surface.
Credit card payment can be accepted via a special telephone hotline, please email for the number after your sucessful bid. Never send credit card details by email.

Freight cost is £26.44 ($39.83) to England and Wales, £35.25 ($53.10) for most of Scotland, £52.83 ($79.58) to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Inverness and Aberdeen. These prices are on top of the £99.58 ($150) item price. Sorry to have to charge extra, the parcel carrier charges more for those locations. I'm working on finding a more competitive carrier, any suggestions are more than welcome.
I might be able to better those prices if you live in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Lancashire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, or the M4 corridor in South Wales. Send me your postcode as part of a question about postage. I need to check locations on an individual basis.
The rotor can be collected from Leicester LE4 area, please make sure your vehicle can accomodate the box before you set off (like a big Dairylea slice 1.7metres each side). I wouldn't want you to have a wasted journey.
If there's anything you would like to know, please don't hesitate to send me a question.
